Have been a few times when staying at the Grand Hyatt. Always the same type of band, service good if you are on of the coveted locals and average if you are not known. Expect to pay at least K Wan per drink and if you are male, have a lady of ill repute try and latch on. Whilst it has the making's of a nice and fun place it's definitely not for all. Perhaps sneak in for one drink and make your exit if not for you.
I went here after checking in to the Grand Hyatt the restaurant park closes it 9 p. As they turn this in to a popular high end bar after that. The service was good and the food was just average nothing special but not bad. Good for a quick bite if you don't want to leave the hotel. I had the steak sandwich it was good and cooked perfectly just missing any extra attempt to try and really make it look amazing.
Lackluster performance on presentation. World class Live band on one side DJ in the other. One of the "in" places in Seoul for a night on the town. Situated in the basement of the Hyatt Hotel, JJ's is a bar come live music venue. Going back five years or more, this was the venue for foreign visitors to Seoul, but now faces competition from the expanding bar scene in areas like Iteawon.
The venue is relatively small and can get very packed and very loud! Bands are always from overseas, play covers, and vary in quality. Snacks are available, but as with the drinks, this is an expensive venue. Best experienced late as it doesn't come to life until midnight and closes at A safe venue if you don't feel confident about venturing into the city itself late at night.
Worth a visit! I used to visit this place quite often in the 90s.. The band this time was cuban and played a mix of salsa and other popular tunes.. The place has cigars available and alliws amoking them as well.. There a good crowd for a wednesday night.. A giood time was had by all!! A pleasant revisiting of a place i used to visit a lot but had not been to in 10 years..
